The reception room at the Mont Édouard ski resort in L’Anse-Saint-Jean was completely destroyed by flames on Friday afternoon.
A public alarm was sounded by the Fjord Intermunicipal Fire Safety Authority (RISIF).
Firefighters confirmed the building was a total loss.
Firefighters from five fire stations were called to intervene.
At around 7pm, the last fire was extinguished. Only the shell of the building remained.
Not spread to other buildings. No one was injured in the fire.

Several people closely involved in the management of the mountain went to the scene to see the extent of the fire.
